1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Poiva (“Poiva,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Marquee, our mobile app (the “App”). Marquee turns your device into a full-screen scrolling sign and is designed to work entirely offline.

In short: the App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or device data.

2. Information the App handles

Information stored locally

Marquee stores the messages you enter and your banner preferences, such as display mode, colors, direction, speed, text size, and visual style, locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the App’s features and remember your choices. Poiva cannot access it.

Information we do not collect

The App does not collect names, email addresses, account information, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, usage analytics, diagnostics, or the content of your messages. The App has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, or cloud synchronization.

3. Network access and permissions

Marquee does not make network requests as part of its App functionality and does not transmit your messages, preferences, or device information. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, notifications, or shared device storage.

Marquee uses standard device capabilities to control screen orientation and keep the display awake while a banner is visible. These capabilities do not provide Poiva with personal data.

4. Sharing and third parties

Because Poiva does not receive data from the App, we do not sell, rent, disclose, or share App data with third parties. Marquee uses software components that run on your device to provide its interface, local storage, animation, and display features; these components are not used by Poiva to collect or transmit your data.

Google Play may independently process information when you download or update the App. That processing is controlled by Google and is governed by Google’s own privacy terms, not this Privacy Policy.

5. Retention, deletion, and security

Messages and settings remain on your device until you replace them, clear the App’s data through your device settings, or uninstall the App. Because this information is not transmitted to Poiva, we do not retain a server-side copy and cannot retrieve or delete it remotely.

Keeping data on your device limits exposure during transmission or server storage. The security of locally stored information also depends on your device and operating-system security, including any screen lock or device protections you choose to use.

6. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to respond, provide support, maintain necessary business records, or comply with law. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and do not sell it.

7. Children’s privacy

Marquee is a general-audience utility and is not directed specifically to children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s features or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the effective date above. If a change materially affects how the App handles data, we will provide any additional notice required by law or platform policy.
